Due to the COVID 19 pandemic, care and health facilities are particularly challenged in days like these. Find out first-hand from the managing director of one of the largest nursing and healthcare facilities, what leadership and management challenges he is facing these days and what can be learned from them. dr Markus SCHWARZ previously managed the Executive Search department of the well-known consulting company Egon Zehnder in Vienna for many years and made his experience as a senior manager available to a wide range of clients from different industries. The originally doctorate in immunology acquired an MBA at the renowned IESE Business School in Barcelona after his studies. His path then led him through managerial positions in medical technology in a US company to hospital management at the Salzburg State Clinics. As part of this activity, he played a key role in setting up the Paracelsus Medical Private University (PMU) and until the end of 2012 acted as one of the board members of the foundation that owns the university. In addition, he was continuously involved in strategic consulting projects and has gained many years of experience as a moderator of case seminars within the framework of the Society for Family Orientation.
